Áine graduated from Limerick School of Art and Design with a BA in Printmaking and Contemporary Practice. With Kate McElligott, she was the joint recipient of the Limerick Printmakers Bursary in 2015. For their Bursary Exhibition, they decided to create a collaborative project titled ‘Knots and Crosses’. This project uses the process of monoprint to create a dialogue between two artists. Both artists are still exploring this project.

Áine primarily uses the medium of printmaking and photography in her practice. Her work is a constant investigation into herself and the location she is in, both physically and emotionally. Áine’s work has been exhibited both nationally and Internationally. Her work has been held in private and public collections.
