As well as featuring in various exhibitions in Ireland, Cecily has also exhibited in the UK, and taken part in residencies in Cill Rialaig Artists Retreat in Ballinskelligs, Co Kerry. Cecily is a practicing artist and current member of Limerick Printmakers.
Cecily’s work explores traditional printmaking techniques and mark-making. She is particularly interested in texture and the methodological processes involved in printmaking. Much of her practice draws inspiration from nature, however, recently her work has begun to explore themes of physical isolation, employing landscape to capture moments of introspection and reflection.
