LP is a member-focused printmaking studio and creative space that supports the goals of both individual printmakers and the wider artistic community through the provision of a wide range of high quality printmaking resources in a co-operative environment. In addition, LP strives to facilitate the maximum amount of opportunities for diverse audiences to engage in the experience of printmaking in an active and inclusive environment.

To this end, the studio is committed to delivering an annual education programme for all ages and abilities, a varied exhibition programme that is reflective of the artists it supports and represents, an annual student bursary award, unique printmaking projects, national and international collaborations with other print studios and institutions, alongside a community engagement programme that fully maximizes the potential of LP’s mobile printmaking facilities.

The studio has been an integral part of the cultural landscape of the mid west since its establishment in 1999. LP delivers community focused programming for diverse audiences that centres on inclusive learning, participation and collaboration through printmaking. LP’s aim is to increase awareness, understanding, and enjoyment of this expansive and vital artform. The board and staff of Limerick Printmakers respectfully acknowledge the continued support of both The Arts Council of Ireland and Limerick City and County Council.
