Testimonials

In November 2015, a second year group of students were very fortunate to experience a mobile print workshop here in the school with Limerick Printmakers. It was a very positive experience for the students and myself.

The students really enjoyed the workshop and were stimulated by the immediacy of the processes. They experienced screen printing using their own designs that were inspired by drawings they completed on Limerick City of Culture. They printed these designs onto bags and T-shirts. They also made collograph and used a printing press.

The printmakers were very pleasant, organised and supplied all the materials and tuition. I would highly recommend the workshop. It was a valuable learning experience for the students and myself, and very satisfying for them to have produced high quality work in a fun environment.’

Geraldine O’ Brien, Art Teacher at Villiers Secondary School, Limerick.
